Plexus Slim Dangers & Side Effects

What are the Plexus Slim Dangers and Side Effects?

Most people venture into weight loss supplements or products because their experiences have led to no success. That’s understandable, and it is ok. One of these weight loss solutions that is commonly spoken about is Plexus Slim. Before starting any weight loss solution, it’s extremely vital that you first read the side effects, Plexus Slim included.

What is Plexus Slim?

Plexus Slim claims to help with weight loss.  It claims to help those who have either hit plateaus or need some help to achieve their weight loss goals.  They claim to be a healthy, natural solution that helps you keep the weight off for the long-term.  This product claims to burn fat, keeping blood sugar, lipids, and cholesterol at healthy levels,  curbs your cravings and reduces binge eating sessions.

PLEXUS SLIM SIDE EFFECTSDoes Plexus Slim Have Any Side Effects?

Plexus Worldwide, the parent company owning Plexus Slim, claims there are no known side effects with their supplement. This is easy to claim, especially if you are trying to sell your product.

After reading countless reviews, forum posts, blog posts, we’re able to gather that there are in fact some side effects of Plexus Slim.

The most common side effects of Plexus Slim include nausea, constipation, stomach pain, increase blood pressure, shakiness and elevated heart rate. These are not side effects which should easily be ignored. There have also been reports of damaged kidney functionality directly correlated with the use of Plexus Slim

Furthermore, the FDA has sent a warning letter to the owners of Plexus Slim, stating their concerns. You can read the letter here.

Is Plexus Slim Dangerous?

With the variety of content available on the web dictating the dangers of Plexus Slim, you are left with your conclusions on whether or not this product is for you.

As an avid health nut, this is surely a product I would stay away from, most importantly because the ingredients are the typical fad ingredients, being nothing special.

With ingredients that are not all-natural, you aren’t too sure about what you’re putting in your body.

A well-known replacement for Plexus Slim as a weight loss supplement that has 100% natural ingredients is Slimfy. They have a Free 30-Day Offer.

To Wrap This Up…

Plexus Worldwide is a company with thousands of real reviews on the web. The majority of these reviews dictate that the company is a scam. I don’t personally believe it’s a scam as we recommend every do their own due diligence when deciding to try out a product. The company may have a product that doesn’t provide results, but it’s your choice on whether or not to try Plexus Slim.

If I was searching for a legitimate weight loss supplement, Plexus Slim is something I would personally stay far away from.

It does contain a stimulant. Green coffee is the first ingredient. And it does have at least one proven side effect weight loss, or at least proven by Plexus.

I took tri plex for 5 weeks. Had side effects of elevated blood pressure, stomach pain, and feeling like I had the flu (which they all said it was detox of candida). Now I have an extremely high reading on my B12 boos work. All doctors are telling me to stop taking this supplement.

      Hi L,

Sorry to hear about what happened with Plexus Slim. Unfortunately, these issues are all too common, even with the FDA issuing a warning to Plexus Worldwide, the parent company of the supplement. You can read the FDA’s letter here,

We sincerely wish you the best of health. In no time, everything will go back to normal :).

I started this, because my sister sales it . I took it one day and I threw up afterwords and it felt like I had the flu. I think that I might be allergic to it. I am unsure about this dietary supplement.

I’ve tried plexus, I’m 25 and feel a bit tired from time to time. so, I tried it for about 2-3 weeks. I felt amazing for 1 week, now I’m worried. I’ve got tingles and pain in my left leg and arm, racing heart, and at times feel faint. I’ve seen a lot of people get good resultes, but I am certainly not one of them. I feel as if I’m getting a blood clot in my left leg, I do not trust this product, or what they put in it. Especially how it’s banned in Australia and in Canada? There’s something wrong there. No thanks plexus!

Sorry to hear that Alicia. We don’t think anyone should really trust Plexus Slim. Even the FDA has issued a warning to the manufacturers. Read it here!

I agree with you. I got very sick taking these products and ended up in the emergency room for 3 times in one month due to very bad pains in my stomach and by my inner leg. Once I stopped taking the products my bloated and gassy and such went away. I would not recommend this products to others. Buyer Beware. Yes it may work for some people, these products are not for EVERYONE like they say. I am having issues because of taking these products. Not a happy camper. 🙁 also I had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights for observation. I told the company what happened and sent the products back and get my money back. so that was good.

I have been taking the Plexus TriPlex Combo for about a year now. Four months ago I started having a terrible itch in my vagina. I thought it was a yeast infection it was so bad. After 4 months of treatments I finally just said I will stop the Slim drink to see if this was the cause. No itch!!! I am shocked and so disappointed. It has curbed my appetite and I was so pleased with it and the weight I’ve lost. Now I don’t know what to do. ?

I’ve only drank 3 packets and considering stopping it after reading reports from everyone else. I have been extremely tired the past few days and feel weak in my legs. I have no motivation to do anything. Adding plexus to my day is the only thing I have changed in my daily routine.

Just a heads up for nursing moms…I took the triplex combo for 5 days and my milk drastically decreased. Many said it was great for nursing, and now I’m loosing my milk. My baby’s 3 months old. I’m so so devastated. Plus on top of that I feel like crap!! needless to say I’m done with plexus.

Finally a voice of reason. I am a recovering ambassador and did an experiment. Plexus slim for one month with exercise and careful eating. The next month I dropped plexus and continued my healthy eating and exercise. I lost more weight in the second month without changing my exercise and healthy eating. So…. Plexus didn’t make as much of a difference as eating right and regularly exercising.

I tried this three separate times – each time for about a month. Aside from gaining rather than losing weight, each time I felt like I had the flu – fever, joints hurt, kidney and abdomen pain. Not worth it. I’ll just keep my extra 10 pounds rather than deal with this. Went to the garbage.

I took Plexus Slim, BioCleanse5, Pro-Biotic, and Edge. In addition to seeing no results I have had terrible side effects. The Edge made my heart race, BioCleanse gave me diarrhea, and the new Slim made me shaky and weak, like I had real low blood sugar.

I have a good friend who has been overweight and had lots of health problems, the main one was chronic constipation. Her gastro doctor tried several prescription medications to no avail. Did not help. She tried over the counter probiotics. Nothing worked. 2 years ago she started a portion control diet and started slowly losing weight. Then someone introduced her to Plexus. OMG. She started on ProBio5 and Biocleanse. She quickly became an ambassador, posting constantly on facebook. She sent me an email that clearly she did not write herself, inviting me to try this. (I have diverticulosis and IBSD, slightly high blood pressure, I take a lose dose medicine for this, severe case of scoliosis, back pain) She posted selfies and raved and raved about how wonderful Plexus ProBio5 was. She said that she now has 4-5 bowel movements a day and feels better than she ever has. Says her bloodwork is better, everything is better. She advertised a “Week of Pink” special in October of last year. Gullible me finally gave in, to the tune of 35.00 for a week’s supply of Slim. My friend did not tell me anything about side effects, only to drink as much water as I could. I am a short girl, 56 years old, petite, but with middle age spread. I could stand to lose 20 pounds. My friend is tall, very big boned. A lot of difference in our size. I was kind of excited to try something that promised so much: weight loss, more energy, stamina, ect. I even talked with another friend who takes it and she raved on & on about it too. (Her daughter also sells, is an Ambassador for Plexus). Anyway, the big day came. I work 40 hours a week at an office job. I mixed the famous pink drink packet up in my 16 oz.bottle of water around 9 AM on a Wed. morning. Not bad. Easy to go down. I was told to drink it all within 30 minutes., also 30 minutes before I ate something . I ate a fiber bar around 9:30. Drank 2 more bottle of water before lunch. All was going great, until I began to feel like I had drank 48 oz. of hydrogen peroxide. I have NEVER felt so bloated in my life. Very uncomfortable. My husband and I went out to lunch. I could barely eat 2 bites and began feeling nauseous. That afternoon my stomach came alive. I have never heard sounds come from my stomach like that before, and the gas!! OMG. Loud, embarrassing gas at work??? NOT COOL! I made it to 5 and went home. All that night my stomach howled and I had loud, uncontrollable, stinky gas. My bladder also had a very weird feeling. A burning, stinging feeling. The next morning I had a bowel movement the size of Texas. I called my friend and told her I wanted my money back, I could not stand feeling this way, and it just didn’t feel right to me. I didn’t want any more of this in my body. She told me that she had been instructed to NOT tell the possible side effects because not everybody had them. Anyway, I got my money back and there are no hard feelings with my friend. She continues to sing the praises and tries to recruit others to sell. It’s all a big money making thing I guess. I admit I haven’t heard many negative reviews from people I know who try it, but I know in my gut, literally, that this stuff is not all good. Be careful people.
