How You Can Help Us

Donate money to MBSF!
All donations to MBSF are fully tax-deductible and are acknowledged with a letter. If requested by the donor, donations of $50+ are recognized with a personalized, color certificate like the one shown in the picture below for either the donor or friends and family members. Larger donations are recognized with gifts, if requested.

The certificates make excellent gifts! Donors of $50+ may elect to receive an MBSF T-shirt, an Environmental Education manual or a package of 5 greeting cards with a picture of a monarch  butterfly (see picture below). Donors of $75+ may elect to receive two gifts.  To make a donation please print a copy of the MBSF Donor Form.

Conduct a fundraiser!
Many friends of MBSF conduct fundraisers to support the work of our Foundation. These fundraisers include everything from penny jars in classrooms to milkweed sales. School fundraisers can involve projects by individual classrooms or whole-school initiatives. In many cases, we provide incentives such as t-shirts or baskets to schools.

Help us spread the word!
MBSF officers are happy to give presentations in schools or for community groups when these organizations support MBSF with donations. We are also happy to help individuals who are interested in giving their own presentations on monarch conservation, and can supply information, slides, and other materials.

If you would like information on conducting a fundraiser, please contact Karen Oberhauser.
